Analyzing five-second test results

If you designed for “modern and approachable” but participants are describing the design as “corporate and serious,” the design choices are creating associations that conflict with the intended positioning.
Acting on what you find

If the primary message is not registering, the fix is usually about visual hierarchy: increase the typographic prominence of the headline, reduce competing visual elements, or move the key message to a higher position on the page. The goal is to make the most important thing the most visually dominant thing.
If wrong elements are being remembered, examine whether visual weight is misallocated. Large images, bright colors, or graphical elements may be drawing attention away from text that carries the actual message. If the brand impression does not match the intent, the issue is usually with the combination of color palette, typography, and imagery style.
